Bring Human Food to a Dog Food Conference!
I blogged a little while back about the upcoming Dog Food Conference coming up Nov 8th and 9th in Columbus. This is a joint community and partner led conference for folks interested in the Microsoft stack. There will be a ton of topics covered over the two days, but this blog post is about something else.
The steering committee for the Dog Food Conference will be helping local charities by collecting non-perishable food items at the conference. If you are attending (or even if you just want to stop by and drop some off!) you can bring “shelf-stable” goods to the conference. These donations will go to the following charities:
- LifeCare Alliance’s Groceries-to-Go program
- Mid-Ohio Food Bank
Dog Food sponsor, Halcyon Solutions, is organizing the food drive.
