nPlus1 Summer ArcSummit 2009 - Detroit

nPlus1 is hosting it’s fourth Architecture Summit on July 30th at the Microsoft Office in Southfield, Michigan (Detroit area).  The topic of the summit is Patterns and Principles.

We are offering an optional morning session that runs from 10:00 AM to Noon.  The morning session will be a two hour introductory session on Object Oriented Programming given by Chris Woodruff (Woody).  If you are new to OOP then this would be a great primer for the afternoon sessions.  If you are well versed in OOP this session could act as a refresher if you’re interested.  Lunch will be served at Noon.

After the provided lunch we’ll get more advanced with sessions on Software Design Patterns (presented by David Giard) and Dependency Injection (presented by James Bender).  Between each of the sessions we’ll have some open discussion time to get your ideas on the topics being presented.  Of course, we’ll close out the day with some SWAG.

Remember, the morning session is optional.  If you wish to skip the morning session you can simply join us for lunch at Noon and enjoy the afternoon sessions.
