Presentation went well

Last Friday I spoke at the July DevCare event sponsored by Microsoft and MaxTrain. I am very glad Drew Robbins (the regional Developer Evangelist) asked me to present with him. Both Drew and I spoke on Windows Workflow (WF) to a crowd of about 15-17 people. I think the talks went very well from the input I saw in the evaluations as well as talking to a few people that attended.

I'll be speaking at July's DevCare event

Looks like I’ll be giving one of the sessions on Windows Workflow at the upcoming July DevCare event in Cincinnati. DevCare is a free, half-day session on Microsoft technologies that is sponsored by MaxTrain (the same training company that graciously provides a meeting site for the CINNUG meetings). Drew Robbins, our local Microsoft Developer Evangelist will be at the event to give the other of the two sessions. The first session will be an intro to WF and then the second session will be on creating custom activities for your workflows.

New WF bits are out

Thanks to Paul I’ve noticed that new WF beta bits are available. Check them out! EDIT: 03.16.06- Oh, and don’t forget the VS.Net extensions that go along with it. Please note that this Beta is not compatible with the Feb. WinFx CTP, Office 2007 Beta 1 or Office 2007 Beta 1 Technical Refresh. It appears that it’s compatible with itself, and hopefully some of your code. :)
