Well, vacation has been over for more than two weeks now. It was a good time. The munchkin did great traveling and the wife had a good time. The Williamsburg area is an excellent place for history buffs.
The “must complete” project was completed (even a little a head of time) and is now in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Hopefully things will go well there, but in the meantime I’m back to working on a project that is VB6 and traditional ASP (yikes….
At work I’ve been given a project that is: “must go out on time”, “hot”, and a half dozen other metaphors for we need to get this done. So, what could I possibly do about this but go on vacation! Yep, five days (three work days) away from the grind. Well, to be honest the project really isn’t that large (though it is that important appearently), so I don’t think there is an issue.
Well, it’s the last day of PDC. I’ve just gone to my last session and am fixing to get some food before heading to the airport. They are providing a shuttle from the convention center to LAX. I hope they have that a lot better organized than the buses to Universal Studios for the party on Wednesday night. I found out that even after the accident was cleared they started running the buses in their normal routes.
