Book Review: Presenting Windows Workflow Foundation

As I prepared for my WWF presentation I read through Presenting Windows Workflow Foundation. The book is written by the people involved with the project out in Redmond. It is based on Beta 1.2 (Beta 2 was just released on last Thursday), so keep that in mind when you read it. Over all I thought the book was well done. There was a great chapter describing what was coming out with the next version of Office and SharePoint.

Book Review: Angels and Demons

I’ve been finished with “Angels and Demons” by Dan Brown for quite some time, but haven’t found time to put together my review. This is a predecessor to the “The Da Vinci Code” book that made Brown a big time author. The Angels and Demons book introduces us to Robert Langdon, a Harvard Symbologist who’s knowledge of an old secret organization drags him headlong into a clue finding mission in order to save four kidnapped Cardinals, and save the Vatican from destruction.

Book Review: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

What follows is a review and doesn’t really contain any real spoilers. BUT if your sensitive to that stuff, don’t read any further. Rowling has penned another great story with Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This is supposedly the second to last book in the Harry Potter series (if Rowling sticks to the statement of only writing seven books), and it definitely sets up the last book well.
