UAC got ya down?

Levy pointed me to this article about some power toys for dealing with running UAC and getting your elevated privileges when you need them.

Included are:

  • elevate - used on command line and run-as dialog.  Ex. - elevate notepad.exe
  • Run As Administrator for WSH scripts, PS1 scripts, & HTML Application context menus.
  • Cmd & PowerShell prompt here as Administrator

I think I’ll add the elevate and prompt here power toys.
