Alex Lowe

_Alex works as a Developer Evangelist on the Central Region Developer & Platform Evangelism team. As a Developer Evangelist, Alex spends most of his time working with Fortune 500 size customers to ensure that they are aware of and practicing best practices when developing on the Microsoft platform.

Before joining Microsoft, Alex spent four years at Analysts International (Sequoia), a large consulting firm headquartered in Auburn Hills Michigan. During that time, Alex held various development related roles ranging from Junior Developer of small ASP applications to Technical Architect of one the largest ASP.NET applications ever built. His last few years were spent as the Technical Architect of the AtSchool product (a commercial Student Information System package). Outside of Analysts International (Sequoia), Alex was heavily involved in the .NET community at large. In 2002 and 2003, Alex was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for the ASP.NET product. Alex is active on the AspAdvice.com mailing lists, writes articles on his ASPAlliance.com column (http://aspalliance.com/aldotnet), and also maintains a .NET focused blog at http://weblog.asp.net/alowe. Lastly, Alex occasionally has an article published in magazines like asp.netPRO magazine.”
