Sci-Fi or Real?

Europe’s Jules Verne spacecraft (space-truck) is quite a marvel.  They are having it do several demonstrations of it’s capabilities prior to letting it dock with the ISS.  It is maneuvering on it’s own within specific distances of the station, then on command, backing off.  This is all done completely by the computers on the Jules Verne with no human interaction other than receiving the instructions to back off or move to “X” meters from the station.  Fully automated docking capabilities.

Twenty years ago this type of accomplishment would have been seen as complete Sci-Fi.  I’ve been following this on the BBC.
