MCSD.Net finally...

Passed my last test today for my MCSD.Net certification.  I’ve been lacking this one test for about a year and half or so.  Back when I worked for Avanade we were told we had to get our MCSD.Net certification by a certain date.  I quickly went out and hammered out three of the five tests in a month.  Then I left Avanade and there wasn’t a push to get my cert at my next company.  I took the fourth test mainly because I wanted to study the material and the test gave me an excuse to really study it.  Then with the news that they are changing the certification structure I decided that finishing out my certification may help ease the transition period later to the new certifications.  So on Wednesday I booked the last test (70-229, Implementing Databases with SQL 2000) for today.  I had saved that test for last partly because it was the elective test. but mainly because the database is not my strong suit.  I decided to take advantage of the free exam retake offer from Microsoft just in case, but I spent maybe an hour or two looking over some mock tests and then just went and took the test.  I passed, so no need to do the retake, but it was nice knowing I wouldn’t have to fork out another $125 if I didn’t pull it off.
