Palm selling a windows smart phone?

So Verizon Wireless is carrying the new Palm Treo 700w, which is a Windows Mobile 5 based smartphone.  When another consultant sent me an IM with a page link to this device I thought, this has to be a joke.  A Palm created device running WM5.  Well, it’s not.  The phone looks quite good and isn’t that expensive compared to some of the newer smart phone devices.  I would be tempted to buy this, but I am wondering how/if Verizon has hamstrung it.  They did a good number on their first released bluetooth phone. 

Does anyone out there know if Verizon has mucked with the OS on the phone to disable options or features?  For example, how well does the Bluetooth work on this phone, and has it been tampered with?
