Do We Need Architects? One Person's Viewpoint
Mike Levy posted a Tidbit to nPlus1.org on an episode from ArcCast.TV on “Architects? We Don’t Need no Stinking Architects!” by Michael Stiefel. This was the keynote for an event called Software Factory in Boston in January, 2010. I hadn’t gotten around to watching it yet from my backlog of “stuff to watch/listen/read” when it popped up in my podcast queue from Channel 9 (things tagged with ArcCast) while I was driving home the other evening. This is a very interesting viewpoint on why the role of the software architect is still important. It’s definitely worth watching/listening to.
