MSDN Wiki?

Via Brad Abrams I see that MSDN Library is now opening up a beta program to allow the community to update MSDN Library documentation.  It’s not like Wikipedia that will allow you to edit anything, but you can add comments, code snippets, etc. to several topics.  I remember seeing this many years ago on the PHP3.0 sites where the community basically provided the documentation to the system.  Several of the hints on how things actually worked were better than the canned docs.  We’ll see how this turns out on MSDN.

I can’t be the only person who has looked at incorrect MSDN Library documentation or tried one of their code snippets that wouldn’t even compile.

When you are using the MSDN library site online look for the “Community Content” at the bottom of the pages on types and namespaces.  I couldn’t find it on the System.Workflow pages, but it was on the treeview page shown in Brad’s image example.
