CloudCamp in Ann Arbor this Thursday!

A little short notice, but if you’re into cloud computing then this may be an event you’ll want to make. The event is up in Ann Arbor, MI and it’s called A2Geeks CloudCamp 2009. Blurb: “CloudCamp is an unconference where early adopters of Cloud Computing technologies exchange ideas. With the rapid change occurring in the industry, we need a place we can meet to share our experiences, challenges and solutions. At CloudCamp, you are encouraged you to share your thoughts in several open discussions, as we strive for the advancement of Cloud Computing.

Silverlight Firestarter from an Attendees Viewpoint

A couple of Saturday’s ago the CINNUG group had a Silverlight Firestarter event. One of the attendees, Troy, put up a blog post about his experience at the event. Thanks for sharing Troy! If you attended the event and want to provide feedback (good or bad) feel free to contact me directly (use the contact link at the top of the screen), or post something on the CINNUG forum.

Can you donate some development time for charity?

Bill Steele is looking for some volunteers to help with a charity project for the Cincinnati Public Schools and local support agencies for kids. We need five developers who are interested in donating some of their time to help create a portal site to help improve communications and information sharing between these groups. The work will be done on the weekend of May 1st-3rd. Code will be done using .NET and the portal will be Dot Net Nuke.
