What’s Holding You Back from Using Windows Azure?
Two of the other Windows Azure MVPs (Michael Collier and Brent Stineman) and I are doing some research to see what the most common barriers of adoption are for Windows Azure. If you could take a moment (five to ten minutes of your time) and help us out we’d really appreciate it. We are interested in if you, your client or your company have looked at Windows Azure and found any of the following:
- Technical barriers that kept you from implementing a solution using Windows Azure.
- Company not ready to implement and maintain a cloud based solution (because of politics, organizational issues, technical issues, etc.).
- Problems with understanding how/where a cloud based solution could help.
- Difficulty with concepts or designing solutions based on Windows Azure.
We are looking for candid issues here.
Survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZBJ3YNT
This information is being gathered in order to be delivered to the Windows Azure Product Team at the 2011 MVP Summit. It’s this type of feedback that the product teams need to make the products better, so please, let us know what you think. Who knows, maybe this leads to a technical issue keeping you from using Windows Azure gets resolved!
If you have some feedback you’d like to give, but the survey doesn’t give you what you need to provide it, please contact me through my contact page and I’ll get the feedback from you directly. If this survey doesn’t apply to you, but you know of someone who it might apply to, please pass the link along.
UPDATE: We have closed the survey. Thanks to all that participated!
