The workshop was divided into a morning session on Windows Azure Platform and an afternoon session on Amazon Web Services.

In a recent meeting for one client we were talking about timing for the daily stand up and I shared a great idea that another client is using. They have their daily stand up on a quarter-hour, specifically 8:45 AM (though the actual time isn’t as important as the fact that it is at 15 till an hour). When I first joined the team I asked why this was the case and got a great answer: “Because people schedule meetings for 9:00”.

Last week I posted about a few upcoming Azure Webinars in January, but the list keeps growing. Here are two more that you might be interested in (or better fits your time schedule). **The Windows Azure Platform: An overview and New Features - **January 18th, 8:00 AM (90 minutes) The Live meeting will cover a general overview of the platform and then include coverage of the new features announced at PDC this year.
