If you are joining us for the intro to the cloud sessions during the CodeMash Precomplier (Windows Azure in the morning and Amazon AWS in the afternoon) then you can help us out by coming prepared to dig into code! The sessions will be part presentation, part hands on labs. While you aren’t required to bring a laptop, you’ll get much more out of the sessions if you have one available to work through the labs with (but, there might be some people willing to pair as well!

Cory Fowler (@SyntaxC4) has posted a great list of “Getting Started with Windows Azure” resources. He and John Bristowe put together the list which contains the links to the essential SDKs, training kits, etc. as well as a whole host of resources from articles to podcasts and blogs. If you are interested in trying out Azure then you definitely want to check it out.
