CinARC 01.19.2005 Notes Posted

I’ve posted up notes from our CinARC discussions last week. I’m thinking of making it a regular thing to try to document our discussions and post them to the CINNUG blog. Let me know what you think either directly, over twitter or leave a comment. CinARC Recap Jan 2009

In my weekly reading of blogs I came across two things I’d like to share: Jeff Moser has a great post on Wetware Refactorings. Jeff doesn’t post often, but when he does it’s always a good read. This post is on how to keep your brain stimulated and the concept of continuous learning. I haven’t read the books that Jeff mentions, but two books I have read along the same vein are “Mozart’s Brain and the Fighter Pilot” (which was recommended by a coworker) and “How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci”.

devLINK 2009 Announced

John Kellar has posted the dates for this year’s devLINK conference: August 13th-15th. Like CodeMash, devLINK is adding an additional day to the schedule this year, although there isn’t much information yet on what will be offered during this day. Another change from last year is that the conference is now back in Nashville proper. CodeMash and devLINK are the largest conferences in the area and I have to say I got more out of these two conferences than I did from attending PDC last year.
