Transparent Screens

Check out these photos of computer screens! These are some cool affects that had to take quite a while to set up. The one where there are two or three screens in a single picture are incredible. Thanks to Mr. Huber for pointing these out to me.

Nerd Dinner...

Last night was the Nerd Dinner. Only Ben, Nino and I showed (that we know of), but it was a good time for sure. Lots of discussion on projects, processes, Whidbey and the joys (or lack there of) of CAML. Definately good company. Maybe next time we’ll get more people, but even if we don’t I’m sure we’ll still have a good time.

Coding for Fun

Microsoft has started a new developer center at MSDN called Coding for Fun. It’s geared toward hobbyist programmers and people wanting to start coding. This is an interesting approach that Microsoft has taken, especially with the releasing of the “express” products (VB.Net Express, C# Express, etc) as free development environments. There are not many articles on the site currently, but a few. They even have a few articles that will help you start game design (working with DirectX).
