Precon Session: The Art of Writing a Reusable Class Library

The pre-con sessions started about 10 this morning and got out around 5:45 pm or so. There was a break for lunch, and then another one for the afternoon. I started to blog a bit at lunch for a “first impressions” of the session, but the power went out in much of Los Angeles (or so we are told) and the network link went down. Power was out about thirty minutes or so, and luckily happened during the end of the lunch time period so it didn’t cut into the sessions much.

Team Foundation Server pushed back.

Looks like Foundation Server will only ship with a Beta this November with the rest of the Team System suite. The full release is now slated for first quarter of 2006. Check out the Article.

MCSD.Net finally...

Passed my last test today for my MCSD.Net certification. I’ve been lacking this one test for about a year and half or so. Back when I worked for Avanade we were told we had to get our MCSD.Net certification by a certain date. I quickly went out and hammered out three of the five tests in a month. Then I left Avanade and there wasn’t a push to get my cert at my next company.
