Want to find ways of tweaking the IDE? James Avery has put together a book on just that. It has a lot of good stuff in it from what I can tell and seems like it will be a good book for newer developers as well as people who have been using VS.Net for a while. The focus is on the IDE rather than development, but some segways are made into how to create VS.
Microsoft’s Enterprise Library is supposed to be released tomorrow on MSDN. This package should be a good base of core components to plug into your .Net applications to help speed development and provide consistency. Having been exposed to the ACA.Net framework (Avanade’s predecessor to the EntLib) I can say that there is some really good stuff in there.
If you live around Cincinnati you may want to stop by the Cincinnati .
According to Scott Densmore the Enterprise Library will be available on MSDN on Jan. 28th.
For those of you who don’t know what the EntLib is take a look at this: http://www.gotdotnet.com/workspaces/workspace.aspx?id=295a464a-6072-4e25-94e2-91be63527327 .
