International Paper has a few open positions for developers and a technical architect. You can check out the Monster listings. Make sure to reply quickly as I think one of the developer positions has already been taken.
There is a MSDN Event this Thursday at the Radisson in Northern KY (the round tower hotel near the I75 bridge). Any Microsoft developer in the Cincinnati area should take a look at list of topics and see if they are interested. If so, sign up for it! There will be four session (two long ones, and two short ones) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. They will be presented by Bill Steele from Microsoft Consulting Services.
James Avery is getting a new .Net Users group going in Cincinnati. The group will be primarily focused on .Net (across all platforms) and will have more advanced topics than the previous .Net users group (or what used to be the VB User’s group). The new group is not the old group with new management, and as far as I know the old group hasn’t disbanded. You can check out the new group’s website (though it is still under works) at http://www.
