If you were one of the Verizon Wireless customers who were overjoyed to hear they were adding a Bluetooth enabled phone to their system, then you may want to check this article out. Be careful about buying one of these v710 phones from Verizon. Apparently they have disabled about 90% of the good functionality that Bluetooth will give you, plus a whole bunch of other things. Too bad I’m stuck with them for another year and half due to their contract.
I hate Crystal Reports.
Well, to be fair I’ve never had to actually use the designer to create a report. I’ve mainly been on projects where it was used and saw that it was a general pain to those closer to it. But now, this is just one more reason to really hate the product. Business Objects (the company selling this product) has now become greedy at Ludicrous Speed!
This is just plain stupid.
The BBC Technical artciles (RSS) is running a story on US Courts stating that file swapping software creators are not responsible for the content being swapped by their software. The US Movie industry was suing two file swapping software companies since people were swapping movies via their software. The Courts indicated that it was up to Congress to change the copyright laws to deal with this, not them. I guess now we’ll see the Hollywood going after the file swappers just like the record industry is gong after downloaders.
